What do I do?
The road doesn't go through — the T shows which arm is closed. Handy for finding quiet parking, less handy in a large camper with nowhere to turn.
Many farm tracks and beach spurs off Route 1 are botngötur. The sign saves you a long gravel reverse; a variant shows a footpath continuing where cars can't.
