What do I do?
You may stop briefly for passengers, but you can't leave the car. Check the small plate underneath for hours and exceptions.
One red slash means no parking; two means no stopping at all. Reykjavík enforces briskly — and out on the road, never park in a passing place or on the roadside vegetation.
