What do I do?
Slow down and actually read it — the orange board spells out what's restricted ahead (width, height or weight limits), on which road, and often between which hours or dates.
All of Iceland's temporary signs share this look: orange background, black text. You'll meet the big boards before bridge repairs and summer resurfacing; umferðartakmörkun means traffic restriction and framkvæmdir means works.
