What do I do?
Slow to the work-zone limit and follow the temporary yellow signs — expect gravel, machinery and people on the roadway.
Summer is paving season, and long stretches of Route 1 become gravel work zones at once, sometimes led by a pilot car. "Malbik endar" on a yellow board means the tarmac ends ahead.
