What do I do?
The slanted arrow means a dedicated exit lane is starting here. Move into it early and let the lane do the slowing down — don't brake on the through lane.
You'll meet these mainly on the dual carriageways around Reykjavík and on the airport road. Blue (F05.11) marks the Capital Region; the yellow F05.51 does the same job on rural stretches. Frárein is the exit lane itself.
