Car ferry terminal ahead. Book vehicle space in advance — summer sailings fill up.
The two you're most likely to use are Herjólfur to Vestmannaeyjar (the Westman Islands) and Baldur across Breiðafjörður between Snæfellsnes and the Westfjords. Related signs mark harbours (E09.15) and sightseeing boat trips (E09.12).
