What do I do?
Whale-watching boats leave from here. Dress much warmer than the weather on land suggests.
Húsavík calls itself the whale-watching capital of Europe, and boats also run from Reykjavík's old harbour, Akureyri and Ólafsvík. Humpbacks are the reliable stars; blue whales turn up in Skjálfandi bay early in summer.
