What do I do?
You're driving onto a dock with nothing between the roadway and the water. Go slowly, watch for forklifts and mooring lines, and park well back from the edge.
Every fishing village has a working harbour, and the road often runs straight onto the pier with no barrier or kerb. Bryggja is the pier itself; the sign marks the whole dock area.
