What do I do?
All special limits end here and the national defaults apply: 90 km/h on paved rural roads, 80 on gravel, 50 in towns.
A newer addition to Iceland's signbook, and easy to misread as "no limit" if you're used to other countries. Iceland has no autobahn — 90 is the ceiling anywhere in the country, and speeding fines are among Europe's highest.
