What do I do?
Expect people walking on or beside the road ahead. Slow down and give them a wide berth — there's usually no footpath where this sign stands.
Posted outside towns where sightlines are short or traffic is fast. In practice you'll meet it near popular stops where visitors wander along the tarmac between a car park and a waterfall, often looking at their phones rather than the traffic.
