What do I do?
This marks a widened bay where long vehicles can turn around, mostly inside tunnels. It's not a parking spot or a passing place.
Found in the long single-bore tunnels of the Westfjords and the east; the mirror pair (D06.51 and D06.52) points to whichever side the bay is on. In an emergency it's also where you'd turn back.
