What do I do?
The warning sign above is calling out pedestrians who may not hear you coming. Slow down, do not rely on the horn, and leave a calm, obvious path around them.
This is a supplementary plate for the pedestrian warning sign. It marks places where hearing-impaired road users may be expected; the 2024 regulation now calls the same plate Heyrnarskertir vegfarendur (840.2).
